Only horizontal air vents can be used with this car phone holder; vertical, round ones cannot be used. Super easy installation: 8. You extended the hook out as far as it could go. 9. Pushed it into the air vent. 10. Made sure it was hooked onto one of the individual slates. 11. Turned the knob to tighten/secure it. Note: Do not pull the mount too hard to avoid damaging the vent.
