  • The X-T5 offers the ultimate in image quality, with a best-in-class 40.2 megapixel X-Trans 5 HR CMOS sensor in a compact, lightweight body that maximizes functionality and portability. The X-T5's improved image processing algorithms deliver excellent results, packed with detail in the native ISO range and now extended to ISO 125. The classic X-Series design has been retained. The dial dominates, making it quick and easy to set key functions (including ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation) even when the camera is off. The X-T5 offers a new 1.84 million dot, 3-way tilt LCD and powerful body image stabilization.
  • The X-T5 delivers powerful image-making performance, ensuring your subject is always available, no matter how fast it moves. The high electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000 second and the high mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000 second can stop any subject, while the lag time of only 35 milliseconds provides an almost instantaneous response when the shutter release button is pressed. Hold down your finger and the X-T5 will record images with a mechanical shutter at up to 15 FPS or an electronic shutter at 20 FPS. With the NP-W235 battery, up to 680 frames can be recorded on a single charge, and the mechanical shutter ensures 500,000 starts, providing long-term accuracy and reliability.
  • Camera shake will be a thing of the past, even in low-light conditions, thanks to the X-T5's In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) system. It works on five axes against all types of camera movement and provides up to seven stops of compensation. IBIS works with the camera's subject-detection autofocus, which uses deep-learning AI to expertly track animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, planes, and trains. Tracking moving objects is made easier by the detailed EVF, which uses 3.69 million points to provide a bright, vibrant display. The EVF provides a magnification of 0.8x, making the image easy to view. At the same time, a refresh rate of 100 FPS enables virtually blackout free image production.
  • Follow in the footsteps of the X-H2 and find amazing pixel-shift multishot modes in the X-T5, providing detailed documentation. This feature utilizes the camera's IBIS system to precisely move the sensor, automatically recording 20 separate frames with one click of the shutter. Use Pixel Shift Combiner software to combine the resulting files to quadruple the camera's resolution and produce a richly detailed 160-megapixel file. Perfect for commercial applications or digital archiving, it's also perfect for any static subject where image quality is critical.
  • The X-T5's capabilities are enhanced by its video prowess, which complements the camera's impressive stills performance. Movies can be recorded internally in 4:2:2 10-bit color at up to 6.2K/30p, plus there's a 4K HQ mode that oversamples 6.2K material for superior 4K output. Both F-Log and F-Log2 logging are possible, with the latter providing an extended dynamic range of 13 + stops, Plus 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW can be output via HDMI to Atomos and Blackmagic devices accordingly.
